A trailer has landed for the incoming TV series The Franchise which is set for HBO very soon. The Franchise is landing in October and comes from creators Sam Mendes, Armando Iannucci and Jon Brown. Watch The Franchise trailer below.

There’s an impressive cast with this one with Himesh Patel appearing as Daniel, Aya Cash as Anita, Jessica Hynes as Steph, Billy Magnussen as Adam, Lolly Adefope as Dag, Darren Goldstein as Pat, and Isaac Powell as Bryson. There are also guest appearances from the likes of Richard E. Grant as Peter and Daniel Brühl as Eric.

Before we look at The Franchise trailer, the story is as follows:
The HBO Original comedy series The Franchise follows the crew of an unloved franchise movie fighting for their place in a savage and unruly cinematic universe. The hilarious comedy series shines a light on the secret chaos inside the world of superhero moviemaking, to ask the key question – how exactly does the cinematic sausage get made? Because every f*ck-up has an origin story.
Love the look of this. Sam Mendes directed the pilot for the show and the first episode will land on screens stateside on 6th October, so there’s not too long to wait. Pippa Harris, Nicolas Brown and Julie Pastor executive produce, as does Marina Hyde, whose podcast The Rest Is Entertainment, hosted alongside TV host, producer and writer Richard Osman, is absolutely fantastic. The twice weekly episodes give listeners the lowdown behind the scenes of entertainment industry and is well worth a listen.
We’re guessing that this will come to Sky shortly after the first UK broadcast.
