Black Bear has revealed the trailer for Osgood Perkins’ (Longlegs) next film The Monkey, based on Stephen King’s story of the same name.
Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, and Elijah Wood lead the cast of the movie which is written and directed by Perkins.
When twin brothers Bill and Hal find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start. The siblings decide to throw the toy away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years.
The film is based on the short story by Stephen King, produced by James Wan. It will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on February 21, 2025.
