Trailer for the upcoming season of ‘Yellowstone’

Some two years after the first part of season five of Yellowstone comes the second half’s trailer. The Yellowstone final season trailer comes ahead of a premiere on 10th November.

The one thing you’ll notice is that the trailer includes a lot of Kevin Costner, even though he has left the show. As you can see, there is some footage included from past seasons, of which I’ve seen every episode, but it is difficult to see what’s new and what’s not from the footage we’ve been presented with by Paramount.

Apparently, the final half of season five will present six new episodes which will lead us up nicely up to Christmas. The American western series is hugely popular and I think it’ll retain viewers even though Costner’s John Dutton may not feature that heavily. Series creator and writer Taylor Sheridan has been quoted in saying that Dutton’s story art has been ‘truncated’ but not altered.

The Yellowstone final season trailer is giving nothing away, though. What is does manage to do is remind viewers of the stakes at hand and various plot points that’ll need to be tied up in the remaining episodes. I will need a full recap before I see this. It has been so long.

Costner has been making his own western, the planned four part epic Horizon: An American Saga, part one of which debuted in Cannes back in May and part two which premiered at Venice.

Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and Forrie J. Smith are among the cast of the new season of Yellowstone which will go out on Paramount+ in the UK.

There is a whole universe of Yellowstone available across Paramount+, including prequels 1883 and 1923, and there is also set to be a sequel series hotting up called The Madison with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell said to be leading out the cast. More on that as we get it, though.
