Following its premiere in Berlin earlier this year, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming film The Ice World, set for release by BFI Distribution soon. There is also a delicious new poster for the feature, too.
Clara Pacini and Marion Cotillard lead the cast of the movie, which lands from BFI Distribution on Friday 21st November. If you’re unfamiliar with the film, the synopsis is as follows.
Lucile Hadzihalilovic directs from a screenplay she wrote with Geoff Cox. The story is as follows.
Colder than ice, her kiss pierces the heart… The 1970s. Runaway Jeanne falls under the spell of Cristina, enigmatic star of The Snow Queen, a film being shot in the studio where she has taken refuge. A mutual fascination grows between the actress and the girl.
There was some good buzz coming from this one as we walked the streets of Berlin after it had screened for the press there. Currently, the film has a 77% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with 44 reviews counted.
