The last two AMERICAN REUNION teaser trailers have reminded us what was so great about the AMERICAN PIE comedy franchise, almost a decade since the last (official) outing. So here is another to keep fans happy, before its release on the 2nd May.
This will be the first time since the sequel in 2001 that every original cast member will return. Previously, the likes of Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Natasha Lyonne had declined to come back for the limp AMERICAN PIE: THE WEDDING. Here’s hoping there are laughs aplenty with the gang and of course the brilliant, awkward Eugene Levy as ‘Jim’s Dad’. The ‘PORKY’S’-style hijinks were always fun night out at the local multiplexes. So Will Jim’s married-life with Michelle, still be as lovable with two kids? Is Stifler, still the immature sex-maniac he always was? Will Finch get it on with ‘Stifler’s Mom’ again? Does anyone care about the rest of the characters? Bring it on!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
