The Hollywood Reporter reports that Cillian Murphy, the man who is The Mark in the superb Inception, has joined Amanda Seyfried in director Andrew Niccol‘s I’m.mortal.
The New Regency/ 20th Century Fox production set in the near future where immortality can be bought and the rich can live forever, creating a situation where overpopulation is controlled by those who can afford to buy more time. When a poor man named Will finds himself with money and is accused of a murder, he goes on the run with a captive heiress, played by Seyfried.
Murphy will play an officer from an organization known as Timekeepers who is as “precise as the time he keeps.”
