Renowned horror director David Cronenberg (THE FLY, SCANNERS) is throwing his hat into the already crowded TV ring. He will executive produce KNIFEMAN, a show about a ‘radical, self-educated surgeon, delivering a visceral portrait of the extraordinary and unorthodox lengths he will go to uncover the secrets of the human body’. Which kind of sounds like NIP/TUCK crossed with DEXTER.
KNIFEMAN has not yet been sold to a network, but it’s probably safe to assume a guy like Cronenberg has enough clout to get a TV show on the air. After all, he’s done films and stuff.
