After last year’s Sundance Film Festival, young actress Brit Marling has become one to watch and here is a look at the brilliant new poster for her upcoming SOUND OF MY VOICE. After a popularity boost at Sundance, the film was picked up by Fox Searchlight for release in the US and the UK and though there is still no current release date for the UK, the film will be released in the US on 27th April.
Marling co-wrote the film with director Zal Batmanglij, who is making his feature debut with SOUND OF MY VOICE. They will also be re-teaming for their next film THE EAST, which will star Ellen Page, Toby Kebbell, Alexander Skarsgard and Patricia Clarkson.
“In SOUND OF MY VOICE, Peter (Christopher Denham) and Lorna (Nicole Vicius), a couple and documentary filmmaking team, infiltrate a mysterious group led by an enigmatic young woman named Maggie (Brit Marling). Intent on exposing her as a charlatan and freeing the followers from her grip, Peter and Lorna start to question their objective and each other as they unravel the secrets of Maggie’s underworld.”

SOUND OF MY VOICE is directed by Zal Batmanglij and was co-written by him and Brit Marling. It stars Brit Marling, Christopher Denham, Nicole Vicius and Avery Kristen Pohl. It will be released in the US on 27th April.
