PARANORMAN is one of the most anticipated animations of the year and for a sneak preview, we have a new trailer and some extra stills right below for THN readers. The comedy-thriller animation follows the story of Norman, a misunderstood local boy, who has an interesting talent. He can speak to ghosts. When his town comes under siege by zombies, Norman will have to use his paranormal activities to fight ghosts, witches, but toughest of all grown-ups, to help save his town from a centuries-old curse.
After the success of Academy Award nominated CORALINE, animation company LAIKA will be re-teaming with Focus Features to make its second stop-motion animated feature. First, check out the trailer and then scroll down for more images:
PARANORMAN will be co-directed by Chris Butler and Sam Fell and was scripted by Butler. An amazing cast includes Kodi Smit-McPhee, who will be giving the voice for Norman, Casey Affleck, Anna Kendrick, John Goodman, Jeff Garlin and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. It’s set to scare the nation on the 14th September 2012.
