Warner Bros. announced yesterday that May 2013 is the proposed released date for THE HANGOVER PART III, and that shooting will begin in September of this year; providing all goes according to plan.
The first was arguably overrated, if rib-tickling at times, the second was a shoddy re-jigging of the first, so what to expect from the third instalment of Todd Phillip’s comedy trilogy? According to Phillips: ‘We’re going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions.’
Phillips will direct again, and pen the screenplay with his HANGOVER II co-writer, Craig Mazin. And… as you might expect, after their obligatory pay rises – whether deserved or not – Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis will return to portray our three lumbering heroes, as they wander aimlessly through another misadventure.
