With only two months to go until its release, it’s odd that there isn’t more promotional material out there for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. However, we have found two new images that have been released showing Andrew Garfield in a bit of a sticky situation.
Along with these images comes the news that FRINGE scribes Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are to write the sequel to the 2012 installment. We can expect the sequel in 2014 – hopefully it’ll be just as action-packed as this one seems to be.
Andrew Garfield stars as Peter Parker/the elusive Spider-Man, who digs up his deadbeat father’s past leading him to the door of Dr Connors (Rhys Ifans) aka The Lizard. Blonde-haired Emma Stone features as Peter’s high school crush, Gwen Stacy, while Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Chris Zylka and Irrfan Khan round-up the cast list.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, directed by Marc Webb, is set for release from 3rd July, 2012.
