Deadline are reporting that The A-Team star Liam Neeson has joined the cast over the mega-budgeted Peter Berg directed Battleship movie that is now shooting over in Hawaii. The Irish actor joins the already cast Taylor Kitsch and Rihanna on the film which is rumoured to be costing a whopping $200 million+.
According to the trade, Neeson plays Admiral Shane, a Naval officer whose daughter (played by Brooklyn Decker) is engaged to a young naval officer played by Kitsch.
In the film, Alexander Skarsgaard plays Kitsch’s older brother, and Rihanna plays Kitsch’s crew mate and a weapons specialist.
