Seth MacFarlane’s Ted Enjoys Some Alone Time In New Poster

Here’s the new poster for Seth MacFarlane’s TED, and we can already hear the Daily Mail frothing with rage.

I don’t know what the problem is, he’s clearly just reading the fine articles here at THN. Which cause him to ejaculate. Particularly those of Matthew Dennis. Damn, son.

TED tells the tale of John (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who still finds comfort in his teddy bear. Not only that, but his teddy is alive. Not only THAT, but he’s a foul mouthed, boozy, lecherous pot-head. John’s girlfriend Lori (Mila Kunis) does not approve and wants her boyfriend to grow up.

This is the directorial debut of FAMILY GUY creator Seth MacFarlane, who also provides the voice for the titular teddy. Kunis is also a veteran MacFarlane collaborator as she voices the long suffering Meg Griffin in FAMILY GUY. There’s no doubt his comedy divides people, but if you like your laughs to be juvenile yet clever, this could be for you. Check out the trailers, here’s the safe-for-work Green Band and here’s the sweary Red Band for your viewing pleasure.

TED will be coming (heh) to cinemas for the 3rd of August.

John is a gentleman, a scholar, he’s an acrobat. He is one half of the comedy duo Good Ol’ JR, and considers himself a comedy writer/performer. This view has been questioned by others. He graduated with First Class Honours in Media Arts/Film & TV, a fact he will remain smug about long after everyone has stopped caring. He enjoys movies, theatre, live comedy and writing with the JR member and hetero life partner Ryan. Some of their sketches can be seen on YouTube and YOU can take their total hits to way over 17!
