Earlier on in May we posted the brand new trailer for WON’T BACK DOWN, starring the brilliant Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis. Today, we present to you some stills taken from the set, giving you a better look at the film before its release. Gyllenhaal and Davis star as two mothers who decide to take on their local schooling system which is failing their children. Facing principals, teachers and governors, the two work to together to start up their own new system, against all odds. The pair also star alongside Ving Rhames, Holly Hunter and Oscar Isaac, giving the cast some solid talent.
I think the fact that the two ladies are mothers themselves gives the them credibility and believability which is can be seen in the images below. I for one am excited about seeing this as I already love the two of them and seeing them work together is going to be amazing. Maybe they’ll even be award-nominated? Hopefully!
WON’T BACK DOWN, directed by Daniel Barnz, has a US release date of 28th September 2012.
