Now I’m in the minority that is follically challenged, it was last year I finally took the plunge and shaved my fast receding hair line, a decision that was tough to make; fortunately women don’t have this problem – well generally – but seeking to start a new trend Charlize Theron (PROMETHEUS, MONSTER) – no stranger to a bit of role dedication – is shaving her beautiful bonce for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. Now I’m quite the fan of Ms Theron and her hair but I reckon she’s got enough in the looks department to pull off the ‘Sinead O’Connor’ – which is apparently a registered trademark for bald women.
There is a picture for this, which is disappointingly poor but it’s a reason to show Charlize in all her glory so here goes:
MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is directed by George Miller (he did the originals and, uh, HAPPY FEET and BABE: PIG IN THE CITY) and stars Tom Hardy (BRONSON) and Nicholas Hoult (ABOUT A BOY) with a release date not expected until next year at the earliest.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
