Lost’s Juliet Joins JJ Abrams’ Revolution

Elizabeth is set to reunite with LOST co-creator J.J. Abrams in television drama REVOLUTION. The actress, best known for her role as Juliet Burke on LOST, will join the upcoming show as a series regular alongside an ensemble cast.

REVOLUTION, helmed by Abrams and SUPERNATURAL creator Eric Kripke, features a post-apocalyptic world set 15 years in the future in which all technology has mysterious failed. Electricity, cars, phones, and computers simultaneously black out leaving the human race struggling to cope. As this is from the team who brought you the head scratching prick teaser that was LOST, I wouldn’t expect any answers for years to come.

Mitchell will appear as ‘Rachel Matheson, mother of Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Danny (Graham Rogers), who is described as a beautiful and warm parent who’s terrified of the ordeal that her children will face as they navigate the dystopian world.’ She will appear in flashbacks.

REVOLUTION will also star TWILIGHT’s Billy Burke and BREAKING BAD’s Giancarlo Esposito. Esposito will star as a a ‘hard-as-steel military man with a genteel southern manner who may not always be what he seems’, and is rumoured to be the head of an armed militia.

REVOLUTION will premiere on NBC in late September.
