Nothing has so far been announced about the UK release of PROMETHEUS on Blu-ray or DVD but Amazon France has their package listed and it looks very interesting but…what’s on there? Well, the French will get all of the viral campaigns with the Weyland video extended, a 2D and 3D version of the film, a Ridley Scott commentary, lots of production and pre-production videos including a draft of the script and most importantly deleted and alternate scenes running about 15 minutes; one thing is missing from this package and it’s the directors cut but we hope Sir Ridley will see fit to put this on the UK release, which (on the rumour mill) we’ve heard is a possibility. Also released is a bumper 9-disc pack of each of the 5 films featuring a ton of extras, and there I was believing all this stuff about it not being a prequel! We’ll be sure to keep you updated on a UK release as soon as we hear.
