Well, the old Spider-Man as Tobey Maguire has signed up for Jason Reitman’s LABOR DAY which is due to commence shooting next month. Maguire is another superstar added to a tremendous cast list consisting of Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, J.K Simmons along with Brooke Smith, Gattlin Griffith and Brighid Fleming the film sounds intriguing and we’ve got the official synopsis below:
Depressed single mom Adele and her son Henry offer a wounded, fearsome man a ride. As police search town for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn his true story as their options become increasingly limited.
With that cast and Jason Reitman coming off the back of UP IN THE AIR and the very underrated YOUNG ADULT we are very excited to see how this turns out.
LABOR DAY is due for release in 2013.
