Daniel ‘Harry Potter’ Radcliffe To Star In Rom-Com?

It seems as if this is true! Reports have surfaced that Daniel Radcliffe, who will never be able to shake his HARRY POTTER alter-ego, is to star in upcoming romantic comedy THE F WORD.

Radcliffe is to feature as a guy who believes he has a chance with pretty new girl Zoe Kazan (who wrote and stars in RUBY SPARKS). However, when he finds out she already has a boyfriend, Daniel is ‘friend-zoned’. Who hasn’t experienced that?!

Michael Dowse (director behind IT’S ALL GONE PETE TONG and GOON) is behind the new project, which will push Radcliffe’s acting skills to a new limit. He’s currently filming KILL YOUR DARLINGS, which focuses on a group of beat generation poets. After many years of starring as Mr Potter I’m sure his new films are a breath of fresh, indie air.

Do you think he’s capable of carrying an romantic comedy? Let us know your thoughts.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
