GAME OF THRONES stunner Emelia Clarke and SNOW WHITE & THE HUNTSMAN’s Sam Claflin will join the car heist actioner OVERDRIVE (also rumoured to have Karl Urban attached). The film is being produced by TAKEN and DISTRICT 13 director Pierre Morel with Antonio Negret set to helm. Shooting will begin late summer in Marseilles with a script devised by WANTED’s Michael Brandt and Derek Haas.
Claflin’s breakout came on acclaimed epic mini-series THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH, before joining the cast of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES. He is currently filming Hammer Films ghostly thriller THE QUIET ONES, opposite Jared Harris. Fellow Brit Clarke meanwhile, is fast becoming an actress to watch in the memorising fantasy series GAME OF THRONES.
