Ben Stiller And Jonah Hill Back Together For ‘Aloha’

After working together on alien invasion comedy, THE WATCH, along with Vince Vaughn and the wonderful Richard Ayoade, it appears that Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill just can’t get enough of each other, and are both set to star in new comedy ALOHA.

The idea for the film was conceived by Hill, developed by Stiller and apparently Nicholas Stoller, co-writer of THE MUPPETS and GET HIM TO THE GREEK is in talks to pen the script. What a cracking team. Not to mention NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM director Shawn Levy, set to direct and co-produce with Stiller and Hill. Phew.

Although the plot is very much under wraps at the moment, there has been a mention of ‘an island-set comedy’, which coupled with the title doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Hello Hawaii! It’s a hard life being a actor isn’t it?

In the mean time though, all contributors have a busy few months ahead of them:

Jonah Hill is set to star in Martin Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, along side lovely Leo DiCaprio, and then back to his comedy roots in the sequel to 21 JUMP STREET. Ben Stiller is currently working on the post-production of his latest directorial feature, THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, originally a short story by James Thurber. And busiest of all seems to be Shawn Levy, whom after finishing filming with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson on THE INTERNSHIP, plans to tackle slightly bigger projects, namely FANTASTIC VOYAGE and FRANKENSTEIN.

I wouldn’t mind an island holiday after all that either.

THE WATCH is released in the UK on the 24th August.
