With a sequel to 2010’s animated hit DESPICABLE ME due for release next year, there is already talk of a another sequel/spin-off involving just The Minons – the little yellow ones from the first film who love The Guru.
Now, this is not a surprise as the kids will lap it up, but there is a massive stumbling block… The Minions, they no speak English. So we’re going to have a film where the lead characters speak no English. A tough sell but it’s worked for Dolph Lundgren.
The as yet untitled project is tentatively set for a 2014 release and has been written by Brian Lynch (PUSS IN BOOTS).
