In anticipation of its first showing at the Toronto Film Festival, ARGO has unveiled a new still. The film is the third directorial outing for Ben Affleck. His previous two efforts GONE BABY GONE (2007) and THE TOWN (2010) were exceptional and ARGO looks to match up to both of them.
ARGO is the true story of a fake film crew sent into Iran to help extract 6 US citizens after the Iran Hostage Crisis. Ben Affleck plays an extraction specialist charged with coming up with the plan. This latest still shows Affleck with co-star Bryan ‘I’m In Everything This Year’ Cranston.
ARGO is released 12th October 2012. It stars Ben Affleck, John Goodman, Bryan Cranston, Clea DuVall, Alan Arkin and Kyle Chandler.
