Drew Barrymore’s fledgling directorial career has taken an apocalyptic twist with news she will direct THE END for Warner Bros, a film trailing a number of characters on the last day of earth. Sounds depressing but with Barrymore in the chair expect a smattering of eccentricity and romance mixed with impending doom, particularly as Aron Eli Coleite (HEROES) has penned the script.
No release date has been announced but we’ll keep you updated.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
