Andrew Dominik’s third film, after CHOPPER (2000) and THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD (2007) teams him once again with Brad Pitt in the lead role. The film sees Pitt as a professional enforcer who is looking into a heist made during a mafia poker game. The film co-stars Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, and Ray Liotta. This is starting to look like the brutal crime films of old. Dominik may not be very prolific, but he has done stellar work so far.
KILLING THEM SOFTLY is released 21st September 2012.
