Here is the first official poster for STAND UP GUYS, starring Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin.
We’ve been keeping a close eye on STAND UP GUYS, which recently debuted its trailer and has been documented with some baffling stills. This very much looks like a Last Hoorah for the screen legends, a bittersweet exploration of friendship, loyalty, death and of youth recaptured. It is also a throwback to the hip aesthetic of the New Hollywood era which made stars of Pacino and Walken.
Al plays Val, a stand up guy just released from prison who took the fall for his friends. But he is unaware that his closest friend Doc (Walken) has to whack him. The film is written by Noah Haidle and directed by Fisher Stevens and is due for release early next year, ready for awards season. Below is the full poster and the trailer.

John is a gentleman, a scholar, he’s an acrobat. He is one half of the comedy duo Good Ol’ JR, and considers himself a comedy writer/performer. This view has been questioned by others. He graduated with First Class Honours in Media Arts/Film & TV, a fact he will remain smug about long after everyone has stopped caring. He enjoys movies, theatre, live comedy and writing with the JR member and hetero life partner Ryan. Some of their sketches can be seen on YouTube and YOU can take their total hits to way over 17!
