TAKEN came out in 2008 and was meant to be a stand alone film, a film impossible to make a sequel for but 5 years down the line, the sequel arrives with the same cast and a similar storyline. Liam Neeson has been promoting the film the past couple of weeks and when asked about a potential 3rd instalment, he immediatley crushed any hope for it BY saying:
‘I don’t see it. I don’t think it’s going to happen. I really don’t – I can’t see a possible scenario where audiences wouldn’t go, ‘Oh, come on! She’s taken again?”.
Audiences are already finding it difficult to grasp a second TAKEN situation but are buying into it to not miss Neeson break necks, and kill the baddies constantly kidnapping his family members. It’s also worth asking how many times his infamous threat ‘I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you’ can be re-used without seeming a tad repetitive.
TAKEN 2 is out on October 4th, who is going to see it and hope there’s a cliffhanger good enough to start production on TAKEN 3? You can read our review and don’t forget to let us know in the comments below.

Isra has probably seen one too many movies and has serious issues with differentiating between reality and film - which is why her phone number starts with 555. She tries to be intellectual and claims to enjoy German and Swedish film, but in reality anything with a pretty boy in it will suffice.
