Get ready to watch Daniel Day-Lewis give a rousing, fist-pumping speech in this latest look at Steven Spielberg’s upcoming political biopic LINCOLN. The all-star epic is sure to be among the awards this season and this second (and much improved) trailer suggests the ‘All-American Hero‘ will be the one to beat come Oscar night. Based on Doris Kearns Goodwin’s award-winning book ‘Team Of Rivals‘ with its focus on the twilight years of the Presidential icon, LINCOLN hits the UK on the 25th January.
Spielberg’s biopic LINCON co-stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, David Oyelowo, David Strathairn, Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field, Jackie Earl Haley, Jared Harris, Lee Pace, James Spader, John Hawkes and Walton Goggins.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
