Oh hasn’t the boy wizard grown? With HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART ONE just a smidgen further around the corner (pause for excitable intakes of breath or possible squeals), Daniel Radcliffe is certainly making his mark on the movie scene.
Now he’s taking a starring role in the movie adaptation of Susan Hill’s novel, THE WOMAN IN BLACK, and today Hammer Films have unleashed the first two, official misty-eyed photos. Anyone who’s seen the scream-out-loud and spill-your-drink-into-your-lap theatrical play, will know that Radcliffe is playing young lawyer, Arthur Kipps, who is forced to travel to a middle-of-nowhere village to sort out a dead guy’s papers. As he spends more time in the old house, he begins to unearth some creepy secrets surrounding the place, many of which concern a woman in black who tends to like appearing unexpectedly. But who exactly is this noir-covered female, and why is she spooking him?
Directed by James Watkins (EDEN LAKE) and adapted by KICK ASS lady, Jane Goldman, the movie is currently being filmed in the UK and has no known release date.
