“Man once promised to kill only what he eats, and eat all that he kills.” After the giant sea monsters of the ocean find their own source of food dwindling, they must come to devour the only food they have left…us. Our only hope? Sushi chefs of course. This is a proof-of-concept short film to pitch for a feature length movie. Just watching this trailer shows a lot of incredible talent in terms of both writing, directing and computer animation. Over at www.monsterroll.com you can view a lot of pre-production and post-production material including storyboards and animatics. The film looks great, and with upcoming monster movies such as GODZILLA, PACIFIC RIM, and ENORMOUS, this could be the perfect satirical comedy.
