Eli Roth hasn’t directed in 5 years, but has kept himself busy with acting in INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS and writing for the upcoming THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS, among other duties. His next film THE GREEN INFERNO has had its full cast announced, which is a good thing considering principal photography is ready to begin on 5th November. The cast includes Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Aaron Burns, Daryl Sabara, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Magda Apanowicz and actress/singer Sky Ferreria.
Not a lot of big names there, but some interesting talent. I enjoy Roth’s brand of horror and storytelling, even if he doesn’t quite manage to hit the thrill factor that one would like. After working with a range of different talents in a number of different capacities, I’m sure he’s picked up some new skills to implement.
