Three New TV Spots For Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’

Three new trailers for Spielberg’s LINCOLN have emerged to give us a great new insight into what we can expect in the biopic, which is based on the 16th President of the America’s struggles to abolish slavery and unite a warring and disparate nation. The film is packed to the rafters with stars including Daniel Day-Lewis, who plays the legendary President Abraham Lincoln, reported by critics with a fearsome moral tenacity guaranteed to bring out the patriotic goose bumps in all of us.

The film is set predominantly in the last few months of the turbulent Civil War as north and south go head to head in the fight for the future of America. LINCOLN seems set to feature in the upcoming Oscars in a very frequent way with its script adaption from the Oscar-nominated Tony Kushner who is adapting from the novel by Doris Kearns Goodwin, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln.

The US release date is set for 16th November this year, whilst the UK will have to wait for a little while longer for release in theaters on the 25th January 2013, but until then we have the televised features below to get us looking forward to what promises to be another home-run from Spielberg.
