‘The Last Stand’ Releases Its Last Trailer

THE LAST STAND has me very excited indeed. It has Kim Jee Woon making his first English language film and Arnold Schwarzenegger back in the lead for an action epic. What’s not to love? This latest trailer reveals all the plot we could possibly want. As a cartel boss is transported to a high security prison, he manages to escape and heads towards the Mexican border. However, he’s going to have to get through a small town protected by an Austrian accented sheriff. The action looks fast and furious, and although it seems as though the comedy is a little broad in some respects, I’m sure it will play out well in context.

THE LAST STAND is released 18th January 2013 in the US and 25th January 2013 in the UK. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rodrigo Santoro, Luis Guzman, Forest Whitaker, Jaimie Alexander, Peter Stormare, Genesis Rodriguez, and Johnny Knoxville.
