Unfortunately this isn’t DOCTOR WHO the early years, but it does look entertaining all the same. A YOUNG DOCTOR’S NOTEBOOK is the new series starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe. Hamm plays a doctor suffering from self doubt, who takes the time to look back at his younger self, played by Daniel Radcliffe. The trailer gives a good sense of the comedic tone to expect, as Radcliffe struggles as a very young looking doctor. The series is based on the stories of Russian playwright and novelist, Mikhail Bulgakov, a man who gave up on his career in medicine after battling typhus.
A YOUNG DOCTOR’S NOTEBOOK will premiere on Sky Arts 1 in the UK on 6th December 2012.
