The Joss Whedon-led Marvel TV Show S.H.I.E.L.D. is in the middle of shaping their cast together. While next to nothing has been revealed as to what kind of enemies they’ll be facing, we have a pretty good idea regarding the type of agents that will be featured on the show, with Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson set to feature in some way, and Ming-Na (E.R., STREET FIGHTER) set to lead the cast.
The latest actor to join the show is the relatively unknown Brett Dalton who will play Agent Grant, described as ‘deadly, precise, and cool under fire — but not so great with the people skills’. I have high hopes for the show because of the amazing work and attention to detail that Marvel has put into its films; I just hope that they will have the same level of care in regards to the TV show. The fact that Joss Whedon is directing the pilot (as well as helping shape the story with his brother Jed) says that they might.
