Whilst here in the UK releases have slowed to a halt, the US seem intent on getting the big releases out in time for Christmas. This week we have swearing, punching, swimming and 20-somethings:
TED, Seth MacFarlane’s feature debut, finally arrives on DVD and Blu-ray months after its cinema bow. Full of swearing, humping and Mila Kunis it won’t please everyone, but its a Christmas treat for those it does.
As the result of a childhood wish, John Bennett’s teddy bear, Ted, came to life and has been by John’s side ever since – a friendship that’s tested when Lori, John’s girlfriend of four years, wants more from their relationship.
Damon-less THE BOURNE LEGACY shoots into your home with as much subtlety as a brick in the face. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the brick would be more surprising than a very safe action flick.
An expansion of the universe from Robert Ludlum’s novels, centered on a new hero whose stakes have been triggered by the events of the previous three films.
Completing our duo of fourth instalments is ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT. Improving on ICE AGE 3, but failing to reach the heights of the first two it should signal the end of a franchise keeping Ray Romano in films. Can that be a bad thing?
Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon another adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world.
Rounding off this week is GIRLS: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON. Welcomed as fresh and funny the Judd Apatow produced series hit the mark on TVand will undoubtedly charm second time around.
A comedy about the experiences of a group of girls in their early 20’s.
That’s your lot for this week, but keep it THN for the final instalment before St. Nick’s visit.
Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
Be careful with washing soda and use gloves as it is tremendously alkaline.
This Florida tenting spot is perfect for a household on a spending plan mainly because it is reasonably priced for
the Orlando community and still it is near
to all the main sights like Disney. * Chinese pizza: Top unbaked pizza dough with hoisin sauce, sliced environmentally friendly peppers and onions, and sauteed shitake mushrooms.
