Deadline are reporting that SCREAM writer Kevin Williamson is developing a new supernatural TV series. Williamson, who is also co-creator and executive producer on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES says that the potential show is like a cross between THE X-FILES and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, and focuses on a group of people who investigate paranormal events.
It is though that the show would be a companion piece to ‘Vampire Diaries’.
Williamson will pen the new show with Julie Plec, his fellow co-creator and executive producer on ‘Vampire Diaries’.
