Mark Wahlberg has been speaking to MTV about his various upcoming projects, and it looks like one of them could be BROKEN CITY, which BOOK OF ELI helmers The Hughes Brothers are looking to direct.
“There’s this other thing, ‘Broken City,’ that I want to do… at the end of next year with Allen Hughes directing,” Wahlberg said, “[It’s] on the Black List. It’s one of the best unproduced screenplays…”
The film revolves around a cop-turned-P.I. who finds himself thrust into the seedy backroom politics of a corrupt mayoral election.
