Today we have a host of new TV Spots and just to make it a little easier, we’ve rounded them all up into one tidy article.
First up we have another look at Sam Raimi’s fantasy prequel, OZ: THE GREAT & POWERFUL, as James Franco’s Kansas magician is whisked away to the land of Oz to act as saviour and attempt to cast out the evil Wicked Witch. The film hits 8th March.
Earlier today we showcased a new poster for Jonathan Levine’s romantic comic-horror WARM BODIES, as zombie Nicholas Hoult falls for human survivor Teresa Palmer and we follow that up with this new 30 second spot. You’ll see the pic invade US cinemas from the 1st February and the 8th on the UK.
Tommy Wirkola’s DEAD SNOW follow-up sees the all grown up fairytale characters dabbling in a bit of supernatural bounty-hunting as Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton take on the titular roles in HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS. Here we have the latest footage from the action/adventure/horror hybrid slated for cinemas in the US on the 25th January and the 22nd February here in the UK.
Finally we have Bruce Willis back as unlucky New York detective John McClane in A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD. John Moore’s action sequel has McClane travelling to Moscow in an effort to patch things up with son Jack (Jai Courtney), only to uncover a terrorist plot in the Russian capital. The 14th February is when we’ll see Willis having another very bad day.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
