DC’s answer to Marvel’s AVENGERS finally has a confirmed line-up, courtesy of the folks over at Latino Review. We’ll get right to the point, as no doubt this will be long-awaited news to the DC fans. A veritable quintet of heroes will be teaming up to fight villain Darkseid’s nefarious plans, consisting of:
Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman!
JUSTICE LEAGUE is slated to hit cinemas in 2015, but is still without a director or any confirmed cast members. And don’t forget, we’re going to need introductions to nearly all of these characters, at least in their latest personas, unless Nolan’s DARK KNIGHT trilogy and Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL films tie into it somehow. Or that Ryan Reynolds-starring GREEN LANTERN film, though we’re pretty sure everyone at DC will want to forget about that.
Either way, that’s still two main characters that need introducing, before we even get to the meat of the plot. And just to make the job extra tough, Latino Review is teasing cameos from Martian Manhunter, Aquaman and Hawkman alongside the rest. If there’s one pro to this development, though, it’s that hopefully the team behind JUSTICE LEAGUE won’t bother spending a large portion of their film going through the painstaking ‘learning to work together’ process that AVENGERS ASSEMBLE suffered from.
With AVENGERS 2 also landing in summer 2015, Warner Bros will have to pull out all the stops – without the benefit of an entire cinematic universe under their belt, there’ll no likely be some serious catching up to do. Still, it’ll be nice to see some variety on the superhero front after the recent domination of Marvel, and we’re looking forward to seeing what comes out of this.
As always, stay tuned for more JUSTICE LEAGUE news as and when we get it. And if there’s anyone else you’d like to see appear in the film, let it be heard in the comments below!

No real suprises, but it’s good to know who to expect.
I’m thinking Henry Cavill will be back as Superman, but as for the others, anything goes.
