See The Lines on Halle Berry’s Face In First Poster For Thriller ‘The Call’

Director Brad Anderson has an impressive resume of indie efforts that creep under the skin, yet he’s still yet to really break into the mainstream. This despite working with the likes of Christian Bale on THE MACHINIST, David Caruso on SESSION 9 and Woody Harrelson in TRANSSIBERIAN. Lately, he’s dabbled with a number of acclaimed television episodes with BOARDWALK EMPIRE, PERSON OF INTEREST and FRINGE to name only a few. Could race-against-time thriller THE CALL, be the film that catapults him into the big-time?

Oscar-winner Halle Berry headlines as an emergency operator who must confront a serial-killer from her past in order to save the life of the kidnapped teen being held at his ‘Hive’. The first trailer suggested a decent nail-biting thriller and below we have the first poster for the film co-starring Abigail Breslin, Michael Eklund, Morris Chestnut, Michael Imperioli, Ella Rae Peck, José Zúñiga and is expected in cinemas in the US on the 15th March. No word yet on a UK release.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
