YES THEY ARE! But it isn’t to save the world from Loki…but just enough time to present an award.
Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today that AVENGERS ASSEMBLE stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo will be presenting at The Academy Awards on February 24th. Speaking of the news, Zadan and Meron said:
“We are happy to re-unite the Avengers cast to present on our show. Audiences who enjoyed the year’s biggest box office hit will be excited to see these terrific actors back together again.”
Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow in the franchise, will not be appearing at the ceremony as she is currently appearing on Broadway in THE CAT ON THE HOT TIN ROOF. It has also been confirmed that Chris Hemsworth will also not be there.
Okay, okay, it might not be all of them, but it is still pretty exciting stuff right?
