He may be currently shooting his mutant-filled pre/sequel X: MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, but director Bryan Singer still has long-delayed fantasy adventure JACK THE GIANT SLAYER released next month. The film re-imagines the famous fairytale and sees Nicholas Hoult taking on the title role of the naive, love-smitten youngster. His character ignites a war between humans and the giants of the skies when he accidentally unleashes a huge beanstalk, leading to a gateway into their world. Jack leads the mission to defeat these massive monstrosities when they kidnap his beloved sweetheart, Princess Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson).
