THN wanted to draw your attention towards this very intriguing radio play Neverwhere, that starts this Saturday on BBC Radio 4 and 4 Extra. It’s from the mind of Neil Gaiman and begins with an hour-long episode at 2:30pm on Saturday 16 March on Radio 4 and continues with five 30-minute instalments across the week on Radio 4 Extra from Monday 18th March.
Fantasy legend Gaiman is responsible once again all kinds of beautiful, dark and imaginative worlds so it’s easy to see why the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch, James McAvoy, Natalie Dormer, Sophie Okonedo and David Harewood want to be involved in this tale of London Below, an alternate reality beneath our capital city where famous landmarks take on a life of their own. But that’s not all as Bernard Cribbins and Christopher Lee have been signed up by Director Dirk Maggs, pretty impressive line-up I’m sure you’ll agree. Here’s more of that cast taking part in some japery:
For even more info, follow Radio 4 on here and then down the bottom let us know what you think! By the way, we also know this has already been out and about but maybe this time, it’ll be a little more successful. One more thing, here’s an initial and mighty cast list:

Radio play… damn! Being on The Hollywood News, I expected this news to be about a movie adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s masterpiece and suddenly got all frothy-mouthed, all for nothing.
