Oscar Diggs (James Franco) is a small-time circus magician who is magically transported from a dusty Kansas landscape to the beautifully colourful Land of Oz. His arrival sparks the population into believing he’s there to fulfil an ancient prophecy as the great man to save them from a evil force gripping their world. That means discovering which of the three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), are good and who is evil before it is too late.
Sam Raimi directs OZ THE GREAT & POWERFUL, the fantasy adventure prequel to classic, THE WIZARD OF OZ, which is released in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D on the 8th March. Here we have the latest television spot and a new look at the Wicked Witch, played by…well, we’ll not spoil it if you don’t already know.
