The Jameson Empire Awards are back but once again they need you, the commoner, to cast your votes and give your opinions. Rather than relying on an elite few within some kind of coven known as the ‘Academy’, Empire Magazine relies on the general public to make the final decision regarding the awards. Not only that, but the different categories allow for a much wider range of films to get honourable mentions such as DREDD 3D and even DARK SHADOWS for ‘Best Horror’ (well I guess every awards ceremony needs a dark horse).
