It’s quite possibly my worst fear. You know, Catching Fire. Still, seeing another character poster from Francis Lawrence’s high-profile sequel to THE HUNGER GAMES, THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is always a beautiful thing. Here’s big Donald Sutherland lounging around on a throne as the character ‘Snow’ in the forthcoming movie, which comes to cinemas around the globe on 22md November 2013.
Snow is actually President Cornelius Snow, The President of Panem. He apparently speaks to Katniss face to face for the first time at the beginning of the second book in the trilogy. Jennifer Lawrence, Jeffrey Wright, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth, Toby Jones, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer and many more are amongst the all star line-up.
Here’s the full official synopsis, followed by the new poster.
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour’ of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
