Following the bunch of character posters we debuted earlier this week, we have the first main one-sheet design for Disney’s own spin-off to their Pixar-collaborated CARS franchise. PLANES follows Dusty, a cropdusting plane who dreams of competing in a famous daredevil aerial race. The problem for Dusty is, he’s hopelessly afraid of heights but with the help of his mentor Skipper and a host of new friends, Dusty sets off to make his dreams come true.
PLANES is slated to land in UK cinemas from 16th August and the US a week earlier on the 9th August, and features the voices of Dane Cook, Val Kilmer, Terri Hatcher, John Cleese, Anthony Edwards, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and Brad Garrett. If it’s a hit, expect Disney to follow-up with TRAINS, BIKES, SCOOTERS or/and bloody SHOES!
