The trailer for the final season of Game Of Thrones has arrived, along with an air date. HBO, who make the series, dropped the promo over the weekend with the announcement that season 8 will play out on our screens in April.

Season eight will air on 14th April in its domestic country with it landing on Sky Atlantic in the UK at 2am the following morning. The news season is comprised of six new episodes and will star reprising cast members Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Lena Headey.
