A full trailer has landed for the fourth season of True Detective. The new season is subtitled ‘Night Country’ and is heading to HBO Max in the US in the new year. Previous seasons have been aired on Sky Atantic in the UK so we presume the same will happen with the new run.
Jodie Foster stars in the new season, alongside Kali Reis, Finn Bennett, Fiona Shaw, Christopher Eccleston, Isabella Star LaBlanc, John Hawkes, Anna Lambe, Aka Niviâna, and Joel D. Montgrand.

Very much looking forward to this one. Mexican filmmaker Issa López, (Tigers Are Not Afraid) wrote and directs every episode of the new series which will land on Max on 14th January.

When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
